Santa Fe, NM, January 11, 2010-Decades, LLC, a privately-owned Albuquerque company established in 2001, provides elder care management and evaluations for seniors and their families when coping with medical, legal and financial challenges. Decades has opened a Santa Fe office at # 233 Johnson Street near the Georgia O’Keefe Museum. Decades’ geriatric care management business is a group practice established by three professionals, Nancy Oriola, LISW, CFP, NMG, Barbara Singer, MBA, CPA, NCG and Theresa McFerrin, CHA, that now employees a team of professionals with advanced degrees and licensed in the areas of gerontology, nursing home administration, counseling, financial planning, mediation, finance, social work, law, real estate and accounting.

Among Decades clients are “sandwich generation” adult children, family members living out of state and elders needing a corporate fiduciary to provide Power of Attorney (POA) services under both healthcare and durable powers of attorney. In addition, Decades works with attorneys seeking professionals to provide evaluations and court-related fiduciary services.

Decades performs and/or facilitates clinical services such as comprehensive assessments, geriatric consultations, care coordination, case management and care monitoring. Specifically, Decades can assist with placement options, medical emergencies, home health and hospice care coordination. They can evaluate current care needs, offer transition support, and provide hospital and facility discharge planning.
