Decades, LLC was formed in 2001 by Nancy Oriola, MSW, LISW, CFP, NMG; Barbara Singer, MBA, CPA, NCG; and Theresa McFerrin, CHA, NCG in 2001 in order to offer a unique, multidisciplinary approach to geriatric care.
Since 1989, the professionals at Decades have provided expertise on financial, legal and health care management for seniors and their families. Decades coordinates with trust and estate advisors in making difficult and complex decisions. Decades, LLC is a partnership of licensed and experienced social workers, accountants, gerontologists and care managers offering excellent service to insure quality of life for aging adults, their caregivers and their families.

Nancy J. Oriola, CEO/ Clinical Director: Master of Arts in Social Work, Licensed Master Social Worker, National Master Guardian, Professional Geriatric Care Manager and Certified Financial Planner. Nancy has 25 years experience providing clinical and financial management services to adults, with a special emphasis on geriatrics, mental health and family mediation. She trained in "Adult Guardian Mediation" through the Center for Social Gerontology, and received an "Interdisciplinary Geriatric Certificate" through UNM's School of Medicine. Nancy is a member of the faculty at Webster University for the Masters in Gerontology program. Her memberships include: New Mexico Guardianship Association Board of Directors, Santa Fe Estate Planning Council, National Guardianship Association, National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and National Association of Social Workers. Barbara J. Singer, CFO: Master of Arts in Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant and National Certified Guardian. Barb has 25 years of combined experience in social service, medical administration and eldercare accounting services. Theresa McFerrin, COO: National Certified Guardian, Certified Hotel Administrator. Theresa has 35 years experience in organizational management and consulting, with a specialization in operations and business development. Jennifer has 12 years of experience working with elders and specializes in behavioral health, mediation, mentoring. Terri Tobey, Business Development Director: Master of Arts in Gerontology, Master of Arts in Teaching, Licensed Health Insurance Agent, Licensed Real Estate Agent. Terri has 23 years experience in sales and marketing for profit and non-profit corporations. She is certified in Medicare and is an Ombudsman for the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department. Mike has been a care manager with Decades for the past four years, and prior to that worked for the State Of New Mexico for over 25 years in the Department of Health, Long-Term Services Division and Developmental Disabilities Division.
