Nancy is Founder and CEO of Decades, LLC. She has worked in the field of senior services for more than 25 years, following a successful career in the financial services industry.  As a Masters’ level Social Worker, as well as a Certified Financial Planner®, with an expertise in healthcare, social work and finance, Nancy opened Decades in 2001 to serve the needs of older adults and those with disabilities.   

After many years of service in New Mexico, acting as President and board member with many organizations; including the New Mexico Guardianship Association, the New Mexico Estate Planning Council, the Southern NM Estate Planning Council and Health Action New Mexico as well as many years as a conference presenter, Nancy now spends more time administering the organization and working with her amazing team of managers and staff.  Her passion has always included mentorship of new professionals in the elder services industry as a way to ensure the best quality of work is provided now and in the future. 

Nancy’s advocacy for the needs and protection of New Mexico’s seniors remains her guiding principle.  She is a part of the “boomer” generation, many of whom see retirement as a time of doing more of what you want, love, and enjoy.  For her, that continues to mean innovating new ideas and services to help others. In the summer, Nancy also works remotely from Vermont, where she can enjoy time with her daughter and son-in-law, as well as her grandson, Thomas.
